EUI Content Hub
Building a new operating model for integrated content strategy

Context

As TikTok for Business EUI’s content programme grew, content planning increasingly spanned social, CRM, website, thought leadership, playbooks and campaign activity. The challenge was to move beyond channel-by-channel execution towards a more integrated approach, giving teams greater visibility of priorities and creating clearer connections between business objectives, audience needs, narratives and distribution.

My role

In partnership with the Head of Integrated Marketing Communications, I launched the EUI Content Hub and defined its strategic operating model. This expanded my role from leading individual content programmes to shaping how content is planned, prioritised and delivered across the region.

What I did

  • Developed the strategic direction for the 2026 EUI content programme, shifting towards an audience-led model built around integrated customer journeys.
  • Established the Content Hub as a central view of content priorities across social, CRM, website, thought leadership and playbooks.
  • Created greater visibility of upcoming content, campaign priorities, ownership and channel roles, helping teams identify opportunities for integration and reuse.
  • Developed frameworks and editorial standards to improve consistency, quality and efficiency across internal teams and agency partners.
  • Connected business priorities to audience-specific narratives, with distinct approaches for practitioners, agencies and senior decision-makers.
  • Established stronger links between campaign planning and channel strategy, ensuring content was designed as an integrated programme rather than a collection of individual assets.
  • Onboarded and now manage a new content support agency, extending the operating model to external partners and creating additional capacity across priority initiatives.
  • Used learnings from campaigns including Mid-Funnel, Smart+ Automation and Commerce Fundamentals to inform the wider content strategy and build reusable approaches.

Results

  • Established a new integrated content operating model for EUI, bringing previously separate content planning streams into a single strategic framework.
  • Increased visibility and alignment across content priorities, channel roles and campaign activity.
  • Created reusable frameworks and standards that are now informing future campaign planning and agency delivery.
  • Created greater capacity to operate at a strategic level while maintaining delivery across an expanded remit, including ownership of EUI social strategy and agency management.

Takeaway

This project represents a shift from leading content execution to building the systems, frameworks and operating model behind a content function – creating the conditions for stronger, more consistent and more audience-led marketing at scale.
