I’m a freelance writer, editor and strategist with more than seven years’ experience working across print and digital.
I currently work in content marketing at TikTok, as associate editor at book trade magazine The Bookseller, and copy-edit, sub-edit and proofread for clients including Stylist, Yahoo, Penguin Random House and HarperCollins.
I write a monthly books preview for The Bookseller, which you can read more about here. Check out the first preview here. I’m also programming a strand of annual publishing conference Futurebook. The programme is available to view here.
Previously I was an associate content strategist at a content marketing agency called studioID (formerly NewsCred), content editor at The Bookseller, sub-editor at gal-dem magazine and literary journal minor literature[s], and the managing editor of InPrint magazine.
I have worked for clients including American Express, Aegon, Generali, Motability, Cisco and HSBC; written for The Observer and The Bookseller; and interviewed figures such as Nicola Sturgeon, Gary Younge and Irvine Welsh.
I am skilled in content strategy, content creation, copywriting and editing, image manipulation, video editing, project management and social media management.
