Hey, I’m Tasha! I’m a content strategist, editor and writer with 10+ years of experience transforming insight into impact across journalism, publishing and brand marketing.
I currently lead content strategy for TikTok for Business in Europe, where I’ve built scalable, insight-driven programs across web, social, email and thought leadership. From industry playbooks and vertical campaigns to trust & safety reports and cultural trend series, my work helps connect data with storytelling to drive engagement, brand reputation and revenue growth. I’ve partnered with analysts, product marketers and creatives to create content that’s earned industry recognition – including LinkedIn’s “Best in B2B” award.
Alongside this, I’m Associate Editor at The Bookseller, where I write a monthly column spotlighting underrepresented authors and small presses and I guest-edit an annual special issue focused on Black British publishing. I also chair the Discover Book of the Year Award for the British Book Awards.
As a freelancer, I’ve worked across editorial and strategy for brands like Stylist, Bustle, Penguin Random House and HarperCollins.
My background includes agency-side content strategy at studioID (formerly NewsCred), editorial roles at gal-dem and The Bookseller, and judging panels across the publishing and literary landscape including the Mslexia Novel Writing Competition, the Historical Writers’ Association Gold Crown Award, the Galley Beggar short story prize, the Impress Prize for New Writers, and Debut Book of the Year at the British Book Awards.
I am an NUJ George Viner Scholar, a two-time Trailblazer award shortlistee, and a one-time Influx Press literary hero.
It all started with this article I wrote for the Observer Newspaper when I was seventeen.
